What is Instagram Stories? Instagram describes Stories as something that allows you to "share all the moments of your day". The feature allows you to share multiple photos and videos, and they show in a "slideshow format", like Snapchat. And, these stories will disappear after 24 hours. You can also add text and doodles to your Stories like Snapchat Stories. How does Instagram Stories work? Tap the camera button on the top left of your screen or swipe right from anyplace in your Instagram Feed. Next, tap or long-press the record button to take a photo or video. When you post something to your story, it shows on your profile (a colorful ring will look around your profile picture, and people can click on it to view your story) at the top of your Instagram followers feed.
